Whedon is Officially Writing and Directing The Avengers 2

Its official! Joss Whedon is officially the writer and director for The Avengers 2. Groomsmen Pauly rejoice!

Since Thor 2, Captain America 2, and Iron Man 3 all come out before the next one, it should be interesting to see what/how he ties new events into The Avengers 2. The Avengers has made over 1.5 billion as of now, seriously.

I believe The Avengers is set for summer 2015; nice to see it in good hands.

Marvel Releases Clips from The Avengers Blu-ray

Believe it or not, The Avengers hit theaters three months ago….and soon it’ll be hitting blu-ray. So Marvel has released clips including some of the cool action sequences from the film, which is what you’re mainly watching second time around (Pauly dont hurt me!). The clips are below and they’re pretty great. The Avengers hits normal/blu-ray dvd end of September.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol THR review

I saw MI4 with Jay Hernandez and walked out thinking … I really, really like Brad Bird. I was disappointed that Jeremy Renner didn’t have enough opportunities to bring emotional heft to the plot, wondering if more than 5% of the audience could name the villain, and still didn’t really know what the main plot was about. However, I really, really liked Brad Bird. His first live action movie was so … uhm … live action. The movie wasn’t that good, but Rotten Tomatoes gave it 93% and it was making money so … what gives?

Apparently The Hollywood Reporter’s Jay Fernandez (any relation to … naaaah) felt the same way that I did. And wrote about it on a site that isn’t as prestigious as ours, but had a really good breakdown on wtf is going on. Check it out by clicking the pic below.

Cruise vs. a sandstorm ... and some other villain I can't think of

the Avengers trailer has been released

Marvel released the trailer for the Avengers. It doesn’t give away the plot, or the villain, but has plenty of the heroes interacting.

      1. Cant wait.

      2. I like Mark Ruffalo, but I wish I saw Ed Norton saying thanks at the end

      3. If I was a actor, I’d like to be Jackson: purple lightsabers, beating the emperor, dying by force lightening, and finally eye patches and Avenger initiatives.
