Halo 4 Preorder Sales Past $150M | Forward Unto Dawn Part IV Online

Halo 4 continues to climb in pre order sales and is expected to have past the $150 million mark with another 11 days to go before arrival. This is exciting but not really a surprise:

Halo 3 sold more than US$170 million worth of copies in the first twenty-four hours of release, breaking the record set by Halo 2 three years prior. Halo: Reach, in turn, broke the record set by Halo 3, selling US$200 million worth of copies on its first day of release. The games have sold over 43 million copies worldwide, and all Halo merchandise has grossed over $3 billion.

I think the five year wait, the success of Reach, and the ridiculous marketing (Theatres have often been showing the two minute preview before Argo…) for what looks like a amazing games, means this H4 will hit at least $190 million in 24 hours…. It is Microsoft’s most expensive game, and the most expensive game ever made. The soundtrack sits at #1 on iTunes for the category and then there’s the 10 million web series Forward Unto Dawn; Part 4 just went online. Happy Friday everyone!

Halo 4 | Forward Unto Dawn Part II

Part II is online. While its shorter, I thought it was much better than Part I. Halo 4 Drops November 6th, Election Day.

I find the first 60 seconds, similar to Part 1, showing Cortana and the Chief following Halo 3, to be the best part.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn part 1.

Here is the first part of the live action mini series Forward Unto Dawn. Surprisingly pretty good if not just a little predictable though. All I know is that this is again getting me worked up and ready for the next Halo game. Can’t wait.

I was hoping you post instead since you were so excited before.

I gave it a watch last night and while the acting is what you’d expect, I have to say the production quality, from the BSG (there’s two minor BSG people in the series as you can see, and some of the filming was done at the same place where alot of Baltar/Roslin Capria scenes were filmed at the presidio) look, to the visual effects are not bad. But its no ordinary web series; it costs 10 million dollars haha.

The real “warthog” they use in the series is pretty awesome in the series. Five more to go I believe; all the way to Halo 4’s release.

Change of subject, who saw Looper?
